| CHRISTOPHER A. SARRO
Chris has served as an attorney, author and advocate.
He is the Co-Author of "Food Renaissance: Our New World of Food" by Mary Jo and Chris Sarro and is the Co-Founder of FoodRenaissance.org about Enjoying Food for Better Health.
Chris previously has served as a Marketing Consultant, Communications Director, General Counsel, Strategic Advisor and Business Developer, with a broad range of communications, microbranding, consultative sales, account management, and legal experience. He has served as a motivational speaker and health advocate, who helps to educate businesses and organizations to create a healthy work environment and assists and inspires employers and employees to take responsibilty to improve the quality of life at the workplace, reduce health care costs and participate in a Renaissance for Better Health and Life.
Sarro is a graduate of Harvard University with Honors in Economics and was a Rhodes Scholarship Candidate. He received his Juris Doctorate from Saint John’s University School of Law, was a member of the Moot Court, an intern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and a law clerk in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Queens County.He received a Commendation from the United States Secretary of the Army, Clifford Alexander, Jr., as the author of an International Economic Action Proposal, concerning the economic hardships of the American troops in Europe, presented in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, in advance of President Carter's Economic Summit in Europe.Sarro previously has served in the financial industry in Westchester and Manhattan, New York and was a Financial Advisor and BusinesScape Coordinator for Morgan Stanley, in White Plains, New York. As the Co-Founder and Moderator of the Westchester Mayors Business Summit and as an Opening Day Kickoff Speaker of Yonkers Business Week, he has advocated for business leaders to be good corporate citizens. He previously has served as a Contributing Columnist for the Westchester Times Tribune, the Yonkers Tribune and the New York Tribune and has been a television and radio talk show host. He has reported directly from the United Nations, including questioning President Boris Yeltsin during his first international press conference in the United States. He has a background in Media Production, including The New World of Food, Threan Communications Network (TCN), International Citizen, A Westchester Minute, The Yorktown Rotarian and In Focus.Sarro is a recipient of the Westchester Golden Apple Service Award, the Rotary International Paul Harris Award and was honored as Poet Laureate of International District 7230. He is a graduate of Yorktown High School, attended the Columbia Math Project, lettered in football, basketball and baseball and as Quarterback was honored by President Gerald Ford with the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award.Sarro's appearances include FOX MORNING NEWS, NBC NEWS, THE TODAY SHOW, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and THE HOME SHOW.
